The four lodges on the seter are all built in traditional local farm style using traditional crafts. The timber has been logged without the use of nails, and the lodges all have grass and sand on the roofs.
In total, Gammelseterhaugen has 22 beds, 4 bathrooms, 2 fully equipped kitchens with dining areas seating respectively 22 and 10 people as well as a separate spa.
